batch coming in to loudoun county. look at reston. over an inch of rain. we have had officially in washington, d.c., zero inches. out in the waters, this is the one we want to keep an eye on over the weekend. there is bill. beginning to lose strength right now. category 2 with winds down to only a bit over 200 miles per hour. it will graze bermuda, tides there will be running three feet above average and have a tropical storm warning. you can see it staying well off the coast. give eight bit of a go but nothing unusual for nantucket. they get into saturday night. high winds up there at 20 to 25 miles an hour. but as i mentioned, the threat is because of the heavy surf. tomorrow we will have that weather front near us. as a result we are going to be seeing some leftover clouds and showers and could see another inch of rain. still a few more showers possible. it will be a bit on the humid side. after we get through 10:00, the last of the leftover showers, coming out of the shenandoah valley, could be some morning position and a fair amount of a into tomorrow. we are going to continue

and ened up the target of the rage instead. but what really happened in this quite loudoun county community? fox 5's stacey cohan just got back and is live in the newsroom with our top story tonight. >> reporter: police made the gruesome discovery shortly after 2:00 p.m. that was after a family member called concerned they couldn't reach the 20-year-old manual. when officers arrived -- man. when officers arrived, they found the young man and a small dog dead inside the home, both apparently killed by two pit bulls. it's the first of what will likely become a monument of remembrance in front of this suburban leesburg home. just a few hours earlier leesburg police found a 20-year- old man inside apparently mauled by two dogs owned by the family. his friends believe he was trying to separate the animals when they attacked. >> providing to break up a fight between two of the pit bulls and got in between them and then unfortunately one ever the comings -- one of the dogs ended up getting on top of him and attacked him. there was nothing he could do. >> reporter: animal control took cus

loudoun county, that will go until 6:30 but for more immediate interest is what is going on for frederick and clarke county virginia. that's rht out here. winchester has this storm moving through and it's cooking along at 20-25 miles per hour. heavy rain, hail, dangerous lightning and winds. you know the drill. they've anticipated this cluster moving right into western sections of loudoun county, right out there it will be there probably within the next 20-30 minutes and we'll see it out there too, very, very ominous. so as the skies blacken out to the west, that's what you'll e. and if you can zoom down, this one is becoming incredibly interesting to me. because this is la plata for charles county and you see this tail on this storm indicating it's a little hook echo. and what i'm thinking is there is rotation in this thunderstorm and when they start to rotate, they're geing stronger and first things first, they'll produce a little bit of high wind, some hate. so northern sections of charles county, extreme southern sections of prince george's county. if you're in the waldorf a

of 20-year-old carter met with the loudoun county animal control officials and they agreed to euthanize those animals. and the reward in the capture of whoever is responsible for the torture and near killing of a pit bull puppy in dc has more than doubled. the humane society of the united states is offering $2500, now that's in addition to the $1500 put up by the dc humane society. that brings the total reward to $4,000. the pit bull puppy now called trooper was thrown in a dumpster and left to die after apparently losing a fight. the humane society says she is in another long fight just to stay alive. >>> more than 204 students are hoping to use vouchers to attend private schools this fall. but they are dismantelling the voucher program. the story now from bruce johnson. >> reporter: four-year-old nia thomas had been told that come september, she would be enrolling in the same private school that her brother now attends. >> do you have any idea what you want to be when you grow up? >> yes. >> what? >> a doctor. >> a doctor? wow, why is that? >> because i want to help people.
